At night the Mekong boat driver and his wife cook dinner on the boat. The aft of the boat is the crew compartment. The crew wash and hang their clothes,
keep their belongings, do cooking and cleaning. They sleep there too. The larger the boat the bigger the crew area, and there may be one or two small cabins
for sleeping. Usually they don't have electricity onboard.
