"Den" waiting for his dinner at a camp stop. A local dog from a Karen village in northern Suphan Buri province walked along with us on the Phu Toei - Huay Kha Khaeng trek. The multi day hike took us through hill evergreen rain forest where we did not see any other travellers throughout the trip. The hike started in a Karen village in Suphan Buri province and ended in another Karen village in Uthai Thani province (December 2006 hike).

This is from January 2007 hike in the jungle of Kaeng Krachan national park. We walked along the creeks, hiked in the water many times, and through the deep wood camping two nights in the jungle.
